The UTIP WebTrader 2.16.0 release introduces new functions for updating the quote archive on the chart, filtering events on the active chart and trading from the event modal window.

Updating quote archive on the chart

We’ve added a new feature to update the quote archive from the chart popup menu. Therefore, the quote archive can be modified on the chart’s visible area.

This results in retrieving the history of quotes without refreshing the page when the Internet connection is lost, so as to exclude bad quotes while analysis is being made.

Filtering events by active chart

Filtering events by active chart lets you choose the trading symbols which the events will be visible by.  

When switching to another symbol, the events are updated in the calendar. In the list, the events will be displayed on the new trading symbol. 

The filtered list is geared to track only those events that are likely to influence the symbol being analyzed. Hence, it allows you to get new data faster and make trading decisions that will boost your transaction volume.

Trading from the event modal window

We’ve made it possible to trade by opening an event modal window. When reading more information about the event, you will see the row of fields changed. In the “Impact on the market” field, a main symbol is highlighted if the event has the most impact. A main symbol caters to price fluctuations per day, week and month. The button that calls an opening of a new order, lets you start trading from the event modal window right after analyzing data.
