In the latest MarketCheese service update we have added new drawing-type objects: «Ellipse» and «Path», and new comment-type objects: «Footnote» and «Notes».

Drawing-type objects: Ellipse

«Ellipse» is aimed at identifying current and past price patterns, trends and trend development on the chart.

Users can fix price motions and highlight the price change line in the following situation: when the price goes beyond the ellipse, a new price pattern or trend direction appears.

In the «Ellipse» settings you can change:

– shape;

– background color;

– transparency;

– edge detection.

Drawing-type objects: Path

The «Path» is shown in the line segments ended with an arrow. It highlights the series of trends or shows a random motion on the chart.

Start using tickers after selecting a starting point, placing the next ones and joining them. The points can be also added to the chart manually.

In the «Path» settings you can change:

— contour color;

— transparency;

— style;

— line-weight.

Comment-type objects: Footnote

A «Footnote» is a short comment. It looks like a rectangular «cloud» with a pointer to a specific comment point. It refers the comment to the specific area on the chart.

The «Footnote» automatically marks the price at a specific point.

Comment-type objects: Notes

«Notes» are similar to «Footnotes». The difference is only in the displayed elements compactness. In the inactive phase, «Notes» look like a geo-tag on the map. And when hovering the cursor, a rectangular «cloud» pops up with a comment.

«Notes» make the text layout more formatted on the chart and have a comment section referring to a specific date and time.
